Week 1, Morocco: Fez

 Up to the 25th: packing, and preparing ... ... but then finally the day was there. My good friend Henk took me to Rotterdam Airport for my flight to Fez. Landed late in the afternoon.  No wifi at the airport, but luckily the cab driver had made a sign with my name on it, so... Arrived at the meeting place (a (rather luxurious) camp site), where i had a cabin (tiny bungalow) for the first two nights. Unpacked and grabbed a burger at the camp site's restaurant. No alcohol here as you can see (but i brought a tax-free bottle of wine) ... Found the truck, that will take us all (group of 25) along the West coast.  Driver is Jordan, tour guide is Cloe. Very nice people.  Nice introduction conversation, but no other travelers yet, so... i'm the first.  Back to my cabin: saw BBC news, took a shower, 1 glass of wine and slept like a log ... October, 26th: Breakfast at the campsite's restaurant and on my way to a huge mall to find an ATM and do some shopping. Took me mor...

PREPARE

Hi all,  Finally on the road again.   In this blog i will keep you updated about a 3 months trip along the west-coast of Africa, start October '23, end January '24.
